What is
Scriptorium?
Scriptorium is inspired, informed and instructed by the sacred ways of animistic or shamanic knowledge traditions, where words and language, in both their oral, written and graphic forms, are given illumination. This work engages participants in the ancient and sacred arts of poiesis or "making", and the works of artes of the ways and spirits of inspiration, imagination, writing and creativity. It is where the invisible is made visible for the purposes of healing, transformation. igniting the fires of our visions, deepening soul, and receiving divine, direct revelation and pure knowing or gnosis.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
How to engage directly with the spirits of knowledge in order to reveal your relationship to knowledge as gnosis, which tends to arise, when it is properly attuned to, from within. Alchemy has taught that all knowledge and wisdom, ultimately, lies within. but it needs ongoing learning, discipline. attention, experience and work in order that we may come to see it, know it. know what we know, know our true selves, and become spiritually able to transmit and share that knowledge with others in our most true-self, self-true, self-original and self- arising forms.
HOW IT WORKS
The work will be undertaken within the shape of your own life and at the direction of your soul within the given architecture of the work.
There is an introductory weekend course that can be attended live or via recording.
Then a course held over a period of three months.
ORIGINS
This body of work was created by Narelle Bouthillier, who passed it down to Chelsy Arber and Gabriela Gutierrez who have evolved it....
The work, methods, techniques and ideas you will learn have emerged from each of our trainings in shamanism and other healing modalities over the years.
Scriptorium holds and elicits the threshold places, rooms and libraries of learning and knowledge of the continually evolving wisdom tradition.

THE COURSE
MODULE I
THE KNOWLEDGE LECTURE: SACRED & CREATIVE WRITING
Discerning and writing sacred and creative texts.
MODULE II
THE KNOWLEDGE IKON OR IKON OF GNOSIS: CREATIVITY
Using techniques of theory and praxis learned in the first two bodies of work, learning to discern Ikons of Gnosis to then be created.

MODULE III:
THE KNOWLEDGE PRESCRIPTION: HEALING DIVINATION & ORACLES
Advanced shamanic divinatory work researched and composed on behalf of another being.
Please note the weekend retreat is a pre-requisite to this course.

Chelsy and Gabriela met in England in 2019 while undertaking a three-year practitioner training in oracular ways of the Pythoness. In 2021 they were invited with a select few to do a one-year training in Scriptorium, a body of work created by their teacher Narelle Bouthillier. Then in 2023, Narelle invited Chelsy and Gabriela to undertake a year-long teacher training.
Chelsy and Gabriela are now authorised to teach this work.
